National Western Stock Show

I just finished photographing the National Western Stock Show here in Denver.

The stock show is a look into the culture and communities behind agriculture today. Ranch people mix with rodeo people. Livestock and trucks and cowboy hats surround you. Everyone eats hamburgers. Here are some favorite images, with more at my archive. Thanks for looking.

Denver Event Photographer: Reunion for Carleton

Each year I’m lucky enough to photograph the Carleton College Reunion weekend in Northfield (just an hour south of Minneapolis). It’s a mix of speeches, presentations, and hanging out with an opportunity for alumni to reconnect. I had a great time working with alumni of all ages along with the donors and current students at the college. As always, a few favorites.

Seattle Event Photographer: Symposium for UW

I photographed the Undergraduate Research Symposium for the University of Washington again this year. The URS is the largest conference of its kind and UW plays host to a number of other universities’ students. There were upwards of 700 this year giving poster and research presentations. It gives me an opportunity to mix candid photography with high-profile guests for UW, and here are a few of my favorites from the day.
